La Cinta Beach, February 2010

After the flood of September 2010 and the break of the end of the year with the early winter sun we rediscover the most beloved beach. The spectacular aerial photos taken on February 3rd 2010 prove the current condition of the beach.

Its shape is almost similar to the one that it has during the winter with the exception of the north side of the dune system and the presence of a slot between the lagoon and the sea (one of the five slots caused by the flood, which is still open). According to the evolution of the beach we can't exclude that this slot could even close. Presently there are some depressions and subsidences in the south part of the beach which allow the normal fruition of the beach. However there are some projects for their restoring.
